Boogie Night

Saturday Sept. 16, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Boogie Night will feature three local musicians of different genres bringing a night of live music and dancing. Drinks can be purchased at the bar.

The entry fee is $10.01. Doors will open at 6 p.m. 

Homer Watson Art Fair 

Homer Watson House & Gallery, 1754 Old Mill Rd., Kitchener 

Saturday Sept. 16, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

This outdoor fair will feature the work of over 30 local artist vendors, family-friendly activities, and walking tours. The gallery will also be open for you to check out exhibits. 

Gallery admission is free, though a donation is welcome. 

KW Rotary Garage Sale and Bottle Drive  

Glenbriar Home Hardware Parking Lot, 262 Weber St. N., Waterloo 

Saturday Sept. 16, 9 a.m. 

Support the Kitchener Westmount Rotary Club by browsing and buying selected items at this garage sale and donating to their bottle drive. You can also donate alcohol cans. 

Items can be purchased using cash or credit.

Claytime 

Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery, 25 Caroline St. N., Waterloo 

Saturdays and Sundays in September and October, various times 

This beginner freestyle clay workshop will teach you basic handbuilding techniques to create fun creations such as plates, mugs, and plant pots. Workshops will take place every weekend in September and October, and each ticket covers the kiln firing service for one clay item. Attendees will be contacted 3-4 weeks later to pick up the finished item. 

The registration cost is $35.20, including tax and online ticketing fees. To request a refund, reach out to the workshop organizer at least 14 days before the scheduled time.
