Region of Waterloo has moved to Red zone
As the Region of Waterloo touches 333 active COVID-19 cases, the Province of Ontario has announced that the region will be moving into Red-control category on Nov. 23, Monday, at 12:01 a. m.
This means that greater restrictions such as gathering limits, increased screening at business, as well as impact on sports and recreations.
Residents are urged to stay at home and travel only for essential purposes such as school, work, groceries, medical appointments, and outdoor exercising.
Municipal facilities will remain open with capacity limits.
