The women’s soccer team beat the Algoma Thunderbirds Oct. 4 to extend their season-high winning streak to four. </p>
With the victory, the Warriors improve to 4-6-1 on the season, moving into fifth place in the OUA standings with 13 points on the season.
The Warriors really played well in all facets of the game, however their defense has shone over the span of their four-game winning streak, allowing only four goals.
Krystna Brudnicki, Eleanor Pineau, Kaitlyn Unger, and Melanie Mitchell all recorded goals in the match, while Kala Studens recorded her fourth straight shutout.
