It is officially holiday season, what is better than having some rich chocolate brownies right out of the oven with a glass of cold milk? Even better when you have friends, family, or even a certain someone you would like to impress and share your freshly baked brownies with.

These simple baking steps will definitely relax your mind from all the stress studying you’ve been doing to prepare for exams.

Ingredients:

– ½ cup butter

– 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

– ½ cup white sugar

– ½ cup brown sugar

– ½ tsp salt

– 2 eggs

– ¾ cup all-purpose flour

– Crushed candy canes, red and green M&Ms, or sprinkles of your choice

These delicious brownies are surprisingly simple to make. They are always my go-to dessert recipe for the christmas season.

Before starting, set your oven to 325 degrees. Butter a 8-inch pan or line it with parchment paper leaving some overhang to lift finished brownies out.

In microwave-safe bowl, add butter and chocolate chips. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each interval. Heat just until chocolate is melted (Do not over-cook!).

Stir salt, white and brown sugars into chocolate mixture. Stir in eggs until combined. Carefully stir in flour until just combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan. scatter crushed candy canes, M&Ms, or sprinkles on top.

Bake on middle oven rack for 30-35 minutes until toothpick inserted into centre comes out with moist crumbs attached.

Let brownies cool in tray. Lift out using parchment paper and cut into squares.

Now grab your loved ones, get some glasses and fill it with cold milk from the fridge, and have a good time.

Fun thing to do is to dip your brownies into the milk and eat it like oreos.

Stress-eat on these scrumptious brownies while you prepare for exams.

It is time for you to enjoy the holidays!
