<strong>Property Damage</strong></p>

UWPS officers investigated a report of damage being done to property inside the Bombshelter at 1:40 a.m. on Feb. 7. Information was received that a male had torn a decorative hockey jersey from the ceiling of the pub, causing damage to parts of the ceiling tiles and tracks. A 22-year-old male (not UW-affiliated) was arrested a short distance from the scene. He has been released pending restitution being paid for the damage caused. The male has been banned from entering the Bombshelter.

Stolen Vehicle

UWPS and WRPS are investigating the theft of a newspaper delivery van. On Feb. 9 at 4:40 a.m. the van was left parked on Ring Road at the main entrance of the SLC with the keys in the ignition and the engine running. While the driver was inside the SLC, a male jumped into the van and drove off. It was last seen heading eastbound on Columbia Street West.

The van is a 2002 Ford Econoline F250, white, with passenger windows all around, bearing Ontario licence plate 905 1TK.

The suspect is described as male, Caucasian, 5-10, wearing dark pants and coat, and carrying a backpack.

Liquor Licence Act Charges

2 – Minors found consuming alcohol

4 – Carrying an open container of liquor in other than a licensed premise, residence, or private place.
