Imprint jobs:

Note: Orientation editor and sales associate are full-time, temporary positions and are still waiting on funding approval from Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ). Requirements are as follows: between 15 and 30 years old, registered as full-time student in previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in next academic year, Canadian citizen or permanent resident, legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with legislation.

Sales Assistant (Work Study):

Responsibilities include assisting the Advertising/Production Manager with marketing sales in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Stratford for print advertisements in Imprint; design and layout of advertisements and updating databases. Familiarity with Salesforce is an asset. Must have excellent people and organization skills and self motivation. Email ads@uwimprint.ca

Orientation Editor (CSJ):

Assist in all stages of production of orientation issue, which welcomes first-year students to UW. Plan, co-ordinate, edit, design/layout the newspaper. Duties include writing, photography, organizing story lists for volunteers. Creative, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills mandatory. Start date and pay pending funding. Sales Associate (CSJ):

Assist the advertising/production manager with cold-call sales/marketing in Kitchener, Cambridge, and Stratford for newspaper advertisements in Imprint. Update/create client database(s), design and layout. Must have valid license and reliable vehicle. Excellent people and organization skills, self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, sales/marketing experience, computer savvy, desktop publishing with Adobe and Microsoft, PC and Mac friendly.
