Note: Orientation editor and sales associate are full-time, temporary positions and are still waiting on funding approval from Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ). Requirements are as follows: between 15 and 30 years old, registered as full-time student in previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in next academic year, Canadian citizen or permanent resident, legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with legislation.
Sales Assistant (Work Study):
Responsibilities include assisting the Advertising/Production Manager with marketing sales in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Stratford for print advertisements in Imprint; design and layout of advertisements and updating databases. Assist in all stages of production of orientation issue, which welcomes first-year students to UW. Plan, co-ordinate, edit, design/layout the newspaper.
