Orientation editor and sales associate are full-time, temporary positions and are still waiting on funding approval from Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ). Requirements are as follows: between 15 and 30 years old, registered as full-time student in previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in next academic year, Canadian citizen or permanent resident, legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with legislation.

Sales and Marketing Assistant (Open):

Assist the advertising/production manager with cold-call sales/marketing in Kitchener, Cambridge, and Stratford for newspaper advertisements in Imprint. Update/create client database(s), design and layout. Excellent people and organization skills, self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, sales/marketing experience, computer savvy, desktop publishing with Adobe and Microsoft, PC and Mac friendly.

Editorial Assistant NEW (Work Study):

Responsibilities include transcribing, research, data collection, finding ledes, scheduling, etc. Qualified candidates will have some editorial experience, can type quickly, and have strong research, data collection, and analysis skills. Successful candidates will also have excellent organizational, time-management, and creative thinking skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Volunteer Co-ordinator (Work Study): 

Responsibilities include recruiting and welcoming new volunteers to work at Imprint, planning social functions, tracking accomplishments of volunteers, maintaining a volunteer contact database, and brainstorming creative ways to draw and retain new talent.

The ideal candidate will have previous volunteer management experience, excellent organizational, time-management and creative thinking skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Sales Assistant (Work Study):

Responsibilities include assisting the Advertising/Production Manager with marketing sales in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Stratford for print advertisements in Imprint ; design and layout of advertisements and updating databases.

Familiarity with Salesforce is an asset.  Must have excellent people and organization skills and self motivation.
