This Feds election will use the instant run-off voting system, which is a type of ranked voting used to elect a single candidate, in this case the Feds executive positions. Instead of just voting for the candidate you want to win, you will rank the candidates from most desired to least desired.
When ballots are counted, the candidate with the least amount of first-choice votes is eliminated and all of his or her ballots are then counted according to the second choice.
This process continues until a candidate wins a majority (51 per cent).
