A crowd gathered in the Student Life Centre’s Great Hall on Nov. 12 to celebrate the life of Alex Foto. The second-year member of the cheerleading team passed away suddenly this summer. Musical performances and a cheerleading display were put on in her memory, and attendees were encouraged to write down memories for Foto’s family. This was followed by a screening of the documentary Girl Rising, in line with Foto’s work with World Vision as an international development student.
