European leaders are now back to negotiating with the country due to the unexpected results from the referendum.

USA wins 5-2 against Japan in FIFA Women’s World Cup
After 16 years, team USA has taken the women’s world cup title after defeating Japan in its final match on July 5. The match, which took place at B.C Place Stadium, was filled with a pro-American crowd, with spectators that included U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden. By the end of the first half, the score was set to 4-1 USA, with a hat trick done by the captain herself, Carli Llyod. The second half resulted in a score of 5-2 USA, with Japan’s second goal coming from an accidental header by USA’s Julie Johnston. This match has broken the record of having the most goals scored in women’s FIFA history.

Fighter jet accidentally bombs Baghdad, kills at least 12
A Sukhois plane used to fight the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was returning to its home base when it accidentally released a bomb in a Baghdad neighbourhood.
According to CBC News, military spokesman Brig. Gen. Saad Maan Ibrahim told the Associated Press that a technical failure caused the catastrophe that resulted in the deaths of at least 12 people.
Casualties include three children and two women. At least 25 others were wounded.
